1 December 2010

A new set of Doctor Who Classic ation figures is too be released very soon from "Forbidden Planet" it will feature "Peri & Sil Vengeance On Varos" it is set to be released on the 9th of December 2010
which is a very soon date considering that these are usually released weeks ahead of delivery day.But this set is priced at £24.99 and can be bought from here.

Here is some background information on the figure set.
"The Sixth Doctor and Peri visit the planet Varos to obtain supplies of a rare ore called Zeiton 7, vital to the functioning of the TARDIS. Varos was once a colony for the criminally insane and the descendants of the original guards still rule, while the poverty-stricken people are kept entertained by screenings of public torture from the Punishment Dome."

This is set to be one very big Christmas selling toy on forbidden Planet.

Doctor Who Links Between 3 Different Seasons.

In "The Pandorica Opens" River goes to a bar and enquires about a vortex manipulator. The Blue coloured Man states its "Fresh off the wrist of a handsome time agent (Jack).Jack was either in the bar at the same time or earlier on when this incident happened, to support this theory even more 2 creatures which appeared at the bar with jack are behind the curtain in this picture (dracojine and the Red Man).

This makes us think that they're is a link between "The end of time" and "The Pandorica opens" and also Torchwood " New Worlds"
What do you think?

Doctor Who Easter Special 2011?

Curtis Brown Literary and Talent Agency have cited a credit for Doctor Who on their profile of director Peter Hoar; the entry reports that he will be directing a "one-off Special of the popular series to be broadcast over the Easter weekend", a one hour long story written by Steven Moffat and produced by Marcus Wilson.

There is no other confirmation on the details listed; filming for the new series during November saw the completion of the opening story penned by Steven Moffat, and then moved onto Matthew Graham's two-part story (as reported by the writer), so the production date given remains unclear at present.

The positioning of such a special within the series is also uncertain - though Doctor Who traditionally broadcasts from Easter, 2011 sees the weekend fall later in April (22nd-25th); this might suggest that an earlier Spring start to Series Six, but previous years have shown that any such decision is unlikely to be confirmed until a few weeks before transmission.

This indicates that Doctor Who May start a little later than Easter time in 2011.It is not news though as it been split into 2 seasons we estimated it would start later on in the month.
