Doctor Who toymaker Character are back in the black after a bad year from 2009, as sales have gone to an ultimate high after the new Series 5 range was Released.
The firm, which makes toys under licence from TV companies, said seasonal sales have so far been stronger than last year. But it is hoping its toys based on the long-running science fiction show - currently starring Matt Smith as The Doctor, pictured Left - will be one of its best-selling brands between now and the 25th.Character bounced back into a £7.6million pretax profit in the 12 months to the end of August - compared to a loss of £2.2million the year before. This Shows that Series 5 Figures are more of a hit and that they shall continue to release more figures more often like this year.These Figures are the Money they have taken in on The Doctor Who brand alone.
